FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) Analysis (2011) - Washington MO
BFA was contacted by the City of Washington, MO to review, comment on, and reevaluate the Preliminary FIRMs for the City. In the end BFA was able to reduce the flood elevation by up to 2 feet in some areas which resulted in the removal of many properties that were initially in the floodplain, saving the value of many residences, businesses, and City owned property.
