BFA's continued investment in technology ensures our clients receive the most up to date estimating information available.

Accumulating all the necessary quantities of materials and labor needed to estimate the cost of a proposed project can often seem to take as long as the project itself. This process, however, is critical in the success of the project.

BFA uses AutoCAD Civil 3D to quickly totalize the required quantities of:

• sidewalks
• pavements
• cut and fill
• landscaping
• fencing
• water and sewer lines
• stormwater infrastructure
• signange
• lighting, etc.

These quantities are multiplied to current cost information obtained from RSMeans, to provide real-world cost estimates that are not just someone's "best guess". RSMeans software is updated quarterly and includes regional adjusted factors to account for cost differences that may be seen across the country.
