"BFA, and Rick Rohlfing specifically, have done a great job for us on this deal so far. They have been very responsive to anything requested."

Director of Development, Sansone Group
BFA/Kent Vedder performed the sight design for Fire Station 1. In our opinion Kent went over and above our expectations for the service we were expecting. BFA looked at our land and project and brought to our attention that we could do our project on half the land and sell off the other piece to help fund our Station construction. This was an option that we had never thought of. Without this option we would not have our building constructed yet today. We are very pleased with their design of our sight. BFA was easy to work with throughout all phases of our project, design and construction.

Deputy Chief, New Haven, MO Fire District
On behalf of Lowe’s Home Centers, Inc., I would like to take this opportunityto recommend the engineering services of BFA, Inc.
BFA, Inc. has teamed with Lowe’s on dozens of new store projects in a relationship that has continued for over twelve years. Over this period, BFA, Inc. has provided a broad range of services for Lowe’s on an estimated 40-50 new store projects, including full civil site designs, storm water management analyses and design, analyzing both on-site and off-site storm water systems and watersheds, design and analyses of regional detention basins and retention basins, and obtaining multiple Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and Corps of Engineers (COE) permits for developments adjacent to and within floodplains and tributaries.
BFA, Inc. demonstrates a comprehensive and thorough approach to their design services, displaying the unique ability to manage multiple aspects of a project from beginning to end with acute attention to details and accuracy, yet without delays or unnecessary management and oversight of the oftentimes complex and involved projects. Further, BFA, Inc. representatives perform their services with professionalism and sound judgment, and always with a positive attitude.
I have no reservations recommending BFA, Inc. for their engineering and design services, as I am confident they will become a valued member of your team.

Director of Site Development, Lowe’s Companies, Inc.
The City of Gerald has been involved with BFA dating back to 1973. Some of the larger projects they have done for us include boring under Hwy 50 for our water main system to be tied together at both the East & West city limits, engineering all of Industrial Drive and helping us make improvements on West End Street.
We strongly recommend BFA to handle any of your engineering needs now, or in the future.
Mayor, City of Gerald, MO
I have been involved with BFA, Inc in numerous projects over the past 30 years. These projects have been in the public and private sectors and ranged from fairly small, straight forward jobs to highly complex developments having budgets in the millions of dollars.
Our association has ranged from being a subcontractor, to prime contractor and to being the owner of the project. The types of projects have varied as well, including public utilities, municipal streets, commercial/retail developments, state park facilities, pre-construction and post-construction surveys, etc.
The most recent project is an ongoing 680,000 S.F. retail center in Washington, MO, which we own and are currently developing. This project encompasses approximately 143 acres and required careful engineering planning, extensive permitting, design and construction. In order to get this project underway, it was necessary to obtain permits from the Corps of Engineers and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to fill approximately 2,550 LF of tributary streams on the property. BFA, Inc. was able to secure the necessary permits and did so in a creative way, by mitigating for this impact with onsite water features within an area that was designated to be dedicated to the City of Washington’s Parks Department. BFA designed the site such that the majority of the storm water runoff would be channeled to a sediment pond, which would act like a forebay to the remaining detention ponds within the Park area. This Park has only recently been developed and already has substantial vegetative and wildlife habitat on it.
BFA, Inc was our first choice to provide engineering and surveying services on our project. Their experience and quality of service is very exceptional in my opinion and I would encourage they be considered for any civil engineering needs you may have.

The Village of Oak Grove wishes to take this opportunity to recommend the services of BFA, Inc. Our relationship with BFA began with the construction of a new Lowe's Home Center in Oak Grove Village. BFA was instrumental in guiding the Village through the process of securing the necessary DOT cost sharing agreements and required DNR permits. Even though the Village had no contractual relationship with BFA, they served as our only interface with the General Contractor and Lowe's. Through their efforts the project was successfully completed to the satisfaction of all parties.
Due to additional expansion required by the Village unrelated to the Lowe's project, the Village entered into a Contractual Agreement with BFA to develop the plans, specifications and obtain the necessary permits to construct a water line extension consisting of 3272 LF of 8" water line and appurtenances. This project was successfully completed without any change.
We highly recommend the professional services of BFA and we look forward to the use of their services in the future.
Chairman, Oak Grove Village, MO
